How to Report a Scam

Scams can happen on any platform. At GirlsPlace we take reports seriously and act quickly to remove fake or harmful advertisements. This page explains how to identify a scam and how to report it.
Important: GirlsPlace is only an advertising platform. We never ask for money, personal documents, or advance payments. Anyone claiming to be from GirlsPlace and asking for money is a scammer.
1. Common Signs of a Scam
Be careful if you notice any of these red flags:
- Someone asks for advance payment or “booking fee” before meeting
- The person refuses to do a quick video call or share recent photos
- They pressure you to decide very quickly
- They ask for your bank details, UPI, or OTP
- The photos look too perfect or appear on many different ads
- They claim to be from GirlsPlace support and ask for money
- They want to move the conversation to another app immediately and stop responding on the platform
2. How to Report a Scam on GirlsPlace
Follow these simple steps:
1 Collect Information
Before reporting, try to gather:
- Link of the advertisement (or the profile name)
- Screenshots of the conversation
- Phone number or WhatsApp number used by the person
- Any payment details if money was already sent (for your own records)
2 Contact Us
Go to our Contact Us page and select the subject “Report a Scam”. In the message, include:
- The ad link or profile name
- What happened (short description)
- Screenshots if possible
- Your contact email so we can update you
3 We Review and Take Action
Our team will review the report as soon as possible. If the ad or account is found to be fraudulent, we will:
- Remove the advertisement
- Block the user account
- Take additional steps if needed to prevent repeat abuse
3. What We Can and Cannot Do
We can:
- Remove fake or scam advertisements
- Block users who violate our rules
- Improve detection systems based on reports
We cannot:
- Recover money you already sent to someone
- Force a private person to refund you
- Act as a police or investigation agency
- Intervene in private disputes between two users
Tip: If you have lost money, report the incident to your local police cyber cell and your bank/UPI provider as soon as possible. Keep all screenshots and transaction IDs ready.
4. Safety Tips to Avoid Scams
- Never pay any advance amount
- Prefer meeting in a public place first
- Do a short video call before arranging a meeting
- Do not share OTPs, bank details, or ID proofs
- Trust your instincts – if something feels wrong, walk away
- Remember that GirlsPlace never asks for money from users
